Trips
We want to go wherever God calls us! Whether it’s to the local grocery store or to Darjeeling, India, we as followers of Jesus are always on a mission. Our vision for the future is to establish clinics, orphanages, water wells, or whatever else He asks of us in countries all over the world.
Our Trips
Haiti
We have been to Haiti 6 times already and we are still feeling called to go back. One thing that we believe in is building and maintaining relationships through the years. It’s a philosophy we adopted from God, and it works. It’s an amazing and welcoming thing when you can walk through the streets of a foreign country and hear your name being called. It becomes a second home through time, and we are grateful. Jesus is making his name famous in Haiti and we want you to be a part of this!
Supporting “The Barefoot Christian Church” is one specific way that you can be involved. This church was inspired by Matthew 6:25 and a desire to dispel the endemic lie that anyone could be too poor to have a relationship with Jesus. One summer we brought a battery powered boom box and lots of sermons on CD hoping to establish a small fellowship where ANYONE would feel welcomed, old or young, rich or poor, SHOES OR NO SHOES. Well the CD player and our plans failed, but that was just fine because God wanted to give us an upgrade to a Haitian pastor who was willing to start a church in an especially poor area of Northwest Haiti. The Barefoot Church was born. This church is now a thriving congregation with many current programs and big dreams for the future including a school and a feeding program with their very own bakery! Kenya
This is the trip that started it all. Kinda. In the summer of 2005 Dr. Bill Williams, head of KMO (Kenya Medical Outreach) led a team focused on ministering to southern Kenya through dental and medical services; KMO continues this mission today. We were privileged to have first exposure to the mission field under this wing and this that changed our perspective on missions forever.
